Broadening our science experience

Acquiring science capital from our school environment

In UKS2, our scientists move around micro habitats around the school environment and thought about its suitability to the needs of the creatures living there. They recorded this by taking pictures and commenting on what they saw. Can you find an animal habitat by looking around you and why are these habitats suitable?

This term we have been examining the enquiry skill of recording data - this ranges across the school from giving verbal feedback to a question like ‘What do we see during Summer’ to using a tally chart to count instances in an experiment.
